Domestic firms invest 1.39 billion USD overseas

HCM City (VNA) – Vietnamese companies this year invested in 64 projects in other countries, with registered capital of 391.2 million USD, according to the Foreign Investment Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The companies poured their money into the agriculture sector (156.8 million USD) and industrial sector (147 million USD). Over the last 20 years, local companies have invested in 249 projects with registered capital up to 1.39 billion USD in 35 countries and territories.-Enditem
