Ha Noi targets 180 million USD in investment in IPs

Ha Noi (VNA) – Ha Noi industrial zone (IZ) and export-processing zones (EPZ) aims to attract 180 million USD in investment in 2008. Last year, Ha Noi licensed 61 projects in its IZs with total capital of 245 million USD, surpassing its plan by 22 percent, and issued 30 licences to operational projects to add a total of 61.48 million USD to their capital. Businesses in Ha Noi’s IZs and EPZs generated 2.1 billion USD worth of revenues, a year-on-year increase of 24 percent and contributed nearly 40 million USD to the State budget.-Enditem
