The 3.3 million EUR project will be jointly carried out by the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI) and the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) from now until 2012.
The project will provide a system to collect information and data on the nation’s planning analysis, assessment and supervision work.
It is designed to help Viet Nam in building a legal framework on plan devising work, improve local officials’ capability and raise the central authorities’ supportive ability for development activities at the local level.
Once completed in 2012, the quality of plan devising work and the supervision of the implementation of plans are expected to be considerably improved, thus contributing to sustainable socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the country.-Enditem
