Seoul (VNA) – The Vietnamese community in the Republic of Korea (RoK), Vietnamese students and guest workers and Viet Nam-RoK families gathered at a new-year meeting hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy on February 17.
At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Pham Tien Van spoke about the country’s socio-economic achievements over the past year and the new developments in the Viet Nam-RoK relationship, especially in economic and cultural exchanges.
He also affirmed that the Party and State have always created favourable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to invest in their homeland.
There are around 70,000 Vietnamese people who are living, working and studying in RoK.-Enditem
