HCM City to host ASEAN stock exchange conference

HCM City (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) will host the fifth conference of CEOs of ASEAN stock exchanges on March 10. Six regional stock exchanges – Malaysia , Indonesia , the Philippines , Singapore , Thailand and Viet Nam – are expected to attend the conference. The event aims to boost regional cooperation and help develop more effective coordination and a closer alliance between ASEAN stock exchanges. According to HoSE Deputy General Director Le Nhi Nang, the conference will focus on issues of technology, product diversification, marketing and selling. It will also work out common strategies to develop the stock exchanges. In addition to the six ASEAN stock exchanges, the stock exchanges of the Republic of Korea and Japan ’s Tokyo will be invited to introduce experiences on cross listing.-Enditem
