Ha Noi (VNA) – Stocks on the Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi bourses all together suffered losses at the trading session on March 4.
Even blue-chips like the Hoa Phat Group (HPG) and Thu Duc Housing (TDH), that recently held stable prices on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, gave way at this session.
The VN-Index lost 26.36 points, or 4.15 percent, to finish at 608.88 points by the end of the session. Some 7.9 million shares changed hands at a value of 425 billion VND.
On the Ha Noi bourse, share prices dropped massively, causing the largest loss to the index so far. Losing 15.18 points, or 7.09 percent, the HaSTC-Index broke through the 200-point level to close at 199.04 points.
The trading volume was 5.1 million shares valued at 262 billion VND.
Many investors, seeing no bright prospect in the short and middle-terms, have made offers of sales regardless of their potential losses.-Enditem
