Ha Noi (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City bourse and its Ha Noi counterpart experienced a slight recovery during the March 12 trading session after a strong drop the day before. The demand for blue chips like Hau Giang Pharmaceutical (DHG), Hoa Phat Group (HPG), Sacombank (STB), and Viet Nam Steel Corporation (VSC) at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased during the session. This has helped the VN-Index gain 5.19 points or 0.81 percent to close at 643.9 points. The market saw more than 16.3 million shares worth 1.1 trillion VND being traded. The HaSTC-Index at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre added 5.92 points or 2.70 percent to finish at 225.41 points with 5.5 million shares worth 321 billion VND changing hands. Investors are pinning hope on the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC)’s interference in the market.-Enditem
