Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has said Vietnam and Laos should work harder to increase the efficiency in their investment cooperation.
During a meeting with the visiting Lao Minister of Planning and Investment, Soulivong Daravong, in Hanoi on March 22, the PM asked the two ministries of Planning and Investment to increase the exchange of information and strengthen their cooperation and mutual assistance.
The Lao Minister informed the PM of the results of his Vietnam visit, particularly the signing of a cooperative agreement for 2008 between his ministry and its Vietnamese counterpart.
He said close ties between the two ministries have helped boost economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in power, mining and industrial crops.-Enditem
