Tokyo (VNA) – Many Japanese businesses considered Vietnam as a favourable and attractive destination for their investment, said Sigekazu Utsunomya, Director of Vietnam Money company.
Sigekazu Utsunomya, whose company provides information on Vietnam for Japanese investors, made the statement at a seminar on investment in finance, banking and real estate sectors in Vietnam in Tokyo on March 26.
The seminar, jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was participated by representatives from over 150 Japanese businesses.
Addressing the seminar, Hizofumi Oza, Director of the Japan-Vietnam Economic Exchange Centre, revealed that recently, many Japanese enterprises plan to move their production and business establishments to Vietnam.
However, a number of Japanese businesses expressed worries about the high rate of inflation in Vietnam , low rate of people having bank account and the increase in labour price.-Enditem
