Hanoi (VNA) – A website on foreign investment in Vietnam was launched by the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Investment Agency on March 31.
The website http://fia.mpi.gov.vn is available in three languages – Vietnamese, English and Japanese – and provides news, general information, regulations and procedures related to foreign investment in the country.
It also lists projects calling for investment, with more than 2,000 projects currently online, and provides a forum for investment questions and answers.
Foreign Investment Agency Head Phan Huu Thang said the website was a step toward increasing effectiveness of public services and ensuring transparency of foreign investment policies.
He also said the website will offer Chinese, French and Korean language versions in the future.
The website was developed with the assistance from Japan ’s Mitsubishi Bank.-Enditem
