Week of craft villages to be held in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – A tourism week entitled “Thang Long-Hanoi Craft Villages, Craft Streets” will be held at the Hanoi Ancient Citadel from April 29.

According to the organising board, thirteen craft streets from Hanoi’s Old Quarter and 20 craft villages from around the nation will participate in the event.

Some of the craft villages who will showcase their unique products include Bat Trang and Chu Dau pottery villages, Van Phuc silk village, Dong Xam silver carving village and Doi Tam drum village.

During the week, the citadel will also host activities to promote the culture and beauty of popular sites in Hanoi.-Enditem
