Hanoi (VNA) – A business delegation from Japan ’s Kansai region, led by Kansai’s Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association President Wada Sadao, is on a fact-finding tour of Vietnam .
Receiving the delegation on April 24, Deputy Prime Minister Gia Khiem welcomed their interest to invest in Vietnam .
He also said he believed the Kansai region’s friendship association would further its active cooperation with Vietnam in the future.
President Wada Sadao said his association was willing to raise the number of Vietnamese trainees working in Japan , adding that Vietnam has an abundant supply of young workers.
He said the association would work to further its assistance to Vietnam and boost bilateral cooperation.
He also congratulated Vietnam on the successful launch of its first telecommunication satellite VINASAT-1 and said that as a non-permanent of the UN Security Council, Vietnam will be able to further contribute to the international community.-Enditem
